
The Theory Test is an integral part of your test of fitness to drive any motor vehicle (including cars motorbikes and lorries) on roads in the United Kingdom. The Driving Standards Agency oversee the standards of the test and its questions although the actual testing process is sub contracted to a private company. You must pass the theory test BEFORE YOU CAN APPLY FOR THE PRACTICAL TEST.
The test takes the form of 35 computer-generated questions (from a bank of over one thousand). They are displayed together with alternative answers, one by one, on a “touch screen” and the candidate is required to select the correct answers. The “Pass Mark” is 30.
